Special Groups and Events

Because of its size and location, the Historic Heights is a perfect destination for a group. If your group fills the Inn, we will serve your interests and needs only.

Here are some ideas of how it can work for your group or event:

• Weddings - whether you dream of a small indoor wedding in front of the fireplace with the bride making her entrance down a grand atrium staircase or want to get married in the garden, we can help you fulfill your dreams. We have some experience with outdoor weddings. Having planned a beautiful garden wedding two years ago for a family member, my daughter is now planning a similar event this summer. Ask to see the photos. If you indoor wedding is about 40 attendees or less, we can make it a special indoor day for you. Outdoors, we can handle about 100 guests.
• Youth sports teams, soccer, volleyball, or whatever. Your whole team is together and safe. Meals can made to meet your menu plans. There is room in the Inn or yard for all to enjoy themselves.
• Political delegations, not only can we meet your needs and ever changing time commitments, we will help you get to the convention site. Especially good for out-of-town Republican National Convention attendees.
• Family reunions, out of town guests stay at the Inn. We have the space to host the whole family for get togethers or help you find just the right spot to eat.
• Class reunion, best friends and spouses stay at the Inn and catch up.
• Women’s Weekend get-away - what do you want to include in a special weekend package? We will make it happen. Common requests include on site massages, manicure and pedicures and cooking class.
• Scrap booking - spread out your stuff and leave it for the weekend.
• Quilting gatherings - supplies do not have to be put away and they are safe
• Golf Outings - ask about the championship courses in the area.
