Ron Paul, former 2008 Presidential Candidate and lifetime Constitutional Republican, is coming to Minneapolis. Mr Paul will speak at a fundraiser for Tim Utz scheduled Sunday August 31 starting at

6 PM.

The St Paul Pioneer Press recently reported, “The Twin Cities won’t just be rolling out the red carpet for Republicans when the party brings its national convention to Minnesota next September.  Organizers want to make the gathering ‘green’ – as in environmentally friendly – as well.” 

In addition to well practiced efforts to recycle and conserve energy, this years organizers are going one step further by cutting down on unnecessary travel, holding more meetings on the web, are working in “recycled” cubicles and using previously used office equipment, using flex-fuel vehicles when deciding to drive and finally installing a paperless system for volunteer coordination and media registration. plus when driving.
